Tribulus terrestris

Bullhead, Goathead, Puncture Vine

This plant is not native to here and is definitely not the author’s favorite. Its

seeds have sharp spikes that stick into the foot, hurt a lot, and sometimes draw

blood when removed. The left plant in the picture on the right is Euphorbia.

T. terrestris makes small yellow flowers with five petals. Here’s a website with good detailed info: https://www.cabi.org/isc/datasheet/54447
